a *very* slim chance if she backed up the iPad from the right period and it has kept a back-up. You can right-click on the iPad in iTunes to see which back-ups are still there. Mine certainly seems to like keeping a random assortment of past ones...
So she would backup, find the backup in her Library (google location), put that somewhere safe, restore from the earlier backup, do something with the email, put the current back-up back, restore from *that* to restore the current set-up.
But it's pretty unlikely. I assume you've checked trash in Yahoo online in case it wasn't deleted entirely?
