I have had a loss of performance when I have quite a lot of apps and windows open. I suspect it may be that 2 of my 4 Gb on my air book have stopped working. About this Mac tells me I have 4Gb 1333 MHz DDR3. Stats bar tells me I have 1.12 Gb wired memory, with between 8 and 900 Mb active, 7 and 800 Mb inactive, and around 55 Mb free.
