You download OF2 for iPad onto iOS8. Select Settings and choose upgrade and if it finds you have OF1 for iPad installed (by some Omni magic) then its box agains the Pro line says "Buy £0.00". So I did. And now I'm a Pro! :-)
If you have OF2 on your Mac I'd definitely recommend it - it really feels like using your Mac OF2 on your iPad, really nice.
