huh? If they said that to me I would say 'ok, I'll return it for a
refund then'.
and joined the queue for a brand new one.
that's ridiculous.

Yes I have noticed this but on a new device. After a couple of lengthy
calls to apple I went into the Covent Garden store late last night and
they replaced the phone. On my way home to see if it fixes the home
wifi connection issue I was seeing. Haven't updated the new phone to
8.0.2 yet.
On the replacement issue I was told that accepting the replacement
would mean I could no longer return the phone as my 14 day period was
invalidated by having it repaired! Not what I understand my consumer
rights to be. I returned faulty goods. Anyway I digress.
One thing I do notice is that I am hopeless at typing on the new
keyboard! Always hitting the dot instead of a space on the search bar.
I do like the auto suggestions.

Hi all,
Is anyone else having enormous grief using Safari under ios8?
I try and load some pages and they appear in 3 or 4 seconds, but far
more take AGES to load and many time out or fail to find the server.
I was trying to access digitalspy.co.uk on my iPad - the progress bar
had managed about 30% when I picked up my trusty 5th gen iPod touch,
launched safari, accessed the same site and read three articles by
which time the iPad had managed about 40% tops!
Ironically, the iPad won't even access Apple's feedback page so that
I can moan about it ... I will have to do that from my iPod or Mac!

p.s. My partners 5c on iOS8 doesn't seem to have a problem. I am on
iOS 8.0.2 although this began as soon as I loaded iOS 8 and before
that had not had a problem.
