My trusty 13" aluminium MacBook (late 2008, running 10.7.5) has started to misbehave. It's only little things.
1. Once or twice it won't come out of sleep 2. Once while it was sleeping, the fan carried on running making the machine very hot 3. At home I run it with an external display, lid closed. Usually I unplug the display, pop the MacBook in a bag, take it to the office, open the lid and it wakes up fine. This morning it had switched itself off. It booted normally but the screen doesn't seem so bright as before 4. Finally, I've noticed that when I switch on, Spotlight re-indexes again. Just a few of those things or an early warning of impending doom?
