I had very bad experiences with a NAS, specifically that iTunes downloads went crazy. The file would vanish as soon as it completed... so if you're plannig to use it for media, do a test download.
I could be watching a film as it downloaded then it would just disappear completely as soon as it completed; until I worked out the problem, I was stopping downloads manually a minute before completion, then leaving them unfinished (not a good state of affairs...)
player upstairs ... I was amazed as it all worked out of the box ! Anyhow my next purchase is a Nas . Rather than me looking through loads of reviews I thought I'd ask for recommendations from you all ... And wish you all a merry Christmas ..
