Late to the party on this, but I too took Sam's advice and this option 
worked well for me.

Have now moved to a tall, thin, old solid walled house - and at the 
furthest point the signal is fine for email/internet, but no movie 
streaming. But it basically works like a charm, and literally is plug and 
play.
