Hi there

A friend has just switched from Windows to Mac (actually, the whole hog of
iMac, iPhone and iPad) but is vexed in one area... MS Word! Apparently, the
Mac version is stripped down compared to Windows. He does a lot of page
layout stuff (nothing fancy, but things like A4 folded into 4 x A5 news
sheets etc). I only use Pages, and not for that sort of work. My
'workarounds' weren't quite he was after. Also, he's hundreds of files in
Windows Word that he doesn't want to lose the formatting for.

In Windows Word, he apparently just clicked 'Book-bind' and off it went.
In Mac Word 2011, that feature is no more. He's scoured forums and found a
plugin to do something in Preview once he saves in PDF, but it's not ideal.

Does anyone have any recommendations of a decent app for such a task? Is
Pages up to it?

I rather miss Pagemaker ;)

Any suggestions from what you all use, will be gratefully passed on to him.

Adam
