I'd definitely keep it if you exchange with Pages etc documents with anyone else*. And I'd probably keep it anyway. Pages 5 (that's the version that's newer than Pages 09, of course) is worse in many ways than the version it replaced. No doubt ^H^H^H^H quite possibly in time it will become a superior product, but at the moment it's a change to suit Apple's interests, not their 'customers'. No need to dance to that tune.

At my office it's now part of the standard process of setting up a new laptop to disable the new iWork and re-install the old. In a mixed economy, it's vital.

*I think it is actually possible to 'export' a document from Page 5 into the old format, but I don't know how accurate this is. At best it's more hassle, at worse something will be lost in translation.
