Hello Everyone

Please can someone help with this mystery

Last Friday my main email address [email protected] just stopped working on my 
Mac - kept asking for my password and when given it wouldn’t connect.

Contacted my supplier who told me that there had been a DOS attack but that it 
had been sorted out and was now working again. Trouble is that, although the 
account sends and receives email on my iPhone, I just can’t get it to connect 
on my Mac. Ive turned off and restarted Mail, the Mac, and the router, disabled 
my account and re enabled it, made a fresh account, and still no luck.

Does anybody out there have any ideas how I can get it going again?
