Use the airport utility to edit the settings on the base station. Make sure the
disk is shared out using the airport base station's password, not a custom
username and password.

Hi all,
I've been using TM for ages but after removing and re-adding my usual backup
disk TM won't let me use it as a disk without extra info.
In TM preferences I choose the "Select Backup Disk ..." button, I select the
disk I want (it's attached to my Airport Extreme and has been for over a year)
and then I get this:
<Connect.jpg>
My name? Well, my usual user name (which is Stephen) and my user password don't
work. Neither does my admin name and password.
It's not asking for a network or base station password, so what is it after? I
thought that I could click "Change Password ..." but I'm not sure what I would
be changing as the my current user password obviously doesn't work.
Also, when logged in as me, I can open the Airport Extreme in the Finder and
see the existing TM backups on the disk with no trouble.
Any ideas as to how I can continue backing up to this disk?
Thanks.
Stephen
