My trusted old MacBookPro is so slow! It seems about 10 times slower than my iPad. Is there anything I can do to speed it up? I bought it about 5 years ago. The hardware overview : processor speed 2.8 Ghz, L2 Cache 6MB, Memory 4GB, Bus Speed 1.07 Ghz. It is on OSX10.10.3. Maybe it has just become an old lady and I have to accept the sluggishness but if there is any way to revitalise it I would like to know.
