I've got myself an iPhone 6 and did a full restore from the old 5, with
a password in iTunes, all over USB. But the vast majority of apps don't
have the data they used to -- eg hundreds of pdfs are no longer in
Goodreader; eMailGanizer has no settings (so no email) etc etc. Most
account IDs are there eg in FB.
Is this to be expected or did I miss something? Ie should I erase and
try again? Reloading all the data manually in every app is going to take
weeks...
