I thought I would just share this experience I had over the weekend. On my MBA running latest Yosemite and and iPhone 5s running iOS9 I had a problem on the MBA where I had to keep force quitting as when I tried to open iMessage I just kept getting the spinning beachball. (no problem though on the 5s). Every time I tired to open iMessage on the MBA I got a warning saying ‘last time you opened it it hung up are you sure you want to open it ‘ with two buttons yes and no. I tried 3 times pressing the Yes I want to open and each time I had to force quit then just now as I was about to email for help I clicked on No I don’t want to open it and it opened normally! So problem solved unexpectedly. Shared in case anyone else encounters this. Nick
