For £1.80 a month and I can send 100 emails a month! The only thing
you have to watch is huge groups of emails! mine are fairly small and I
belong to dedicated groups where you send the email to the group server
rather than individual emails! Receive over 300 emails a day most of
which are set for me as read only! !00 emails a month doesn't sound
like much but it turns out to be enough for me! The company is called
gradwell.com. Just been on there The SMTP server service is not seen
but you might have to ring them at 0 01225 560 739. What is so great
about this service is one is independent of the mercy of ISPs. So now I
have my own email collection and now email sending! This means I can now
use any ISP now; all I need the ISP for is surfing the internet!

You're trying to send an me.com message through a btinternet account.
Is that deliberate? They like to go through their own -- ie me.com or
icloud.com (same) should be sending those. Somewhere it's trying to
use the wrong smtp. Have you got an icloud/me.com address set-up? It
sounds like that one is trying to use the btinternet sending system
(smtp).

I've struggled with problems with Mail for a couple of weeks - Can
someone advise me?I can't send emails using Mail. (I can still get
emails using the BT Yahoo web site.) Some of my emails are arriving
in my Mail box but not all of them. To try to start afresh, I deleted
my old email accounts in Mail and started to put the information in
for gmail and BT/ Yahoo. When I try to enter the information for
BTYahoo it tells me "this account already exists". if I try to send
an email using Mail i get the message "Cannot send message using the
server Btinternet.... the sender address [email protected]
rejected by server mail.btinternet.com"In the Accounts pane of Mail
it shows 3 accounts Btinternet using the server mail.btinternet.com;
Google using smtp.gmail.co and mail.btopenworld.com using a server of
that name.
