Many thanks Sam. However, the “Find my phone” had disappeared altogether, even 
under Settings. In the end I got onto Apple and I’ve just had a very helpful 
half-hour on the phone, during which they reset everything and it’s all working 
fine now. I must say I was very impressed by their helpfulness and patience!
