Hi all, In the last couple of weeks, my partner is seeing some odd behaviour now and then when trying to save a document it says that it can't because it can't be opened! It seems that if a document is created and then saved immediately, subsequent changes can be made without trouble, but if there is a delay between creation and saving then a "this cannot be written (opened?) because an error occurred (error - something!)." This is his take on what he believes has happened. When he renamed the document from the drop down at the top of the window then he was able to save it.
Sorry if this is a bit jumbled but it's not exactly clear where the problem is ... It's happened in Preview, Pages and Doxie (our scanner app). It doesn't appear to be consistent but when I saw it happening sort of after the event I could not understand what was happening. He's using 10.11.1 on a three year old MacBook Air. Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated. If there's anything else that can be examined I'm happy to check them out. Cheers, Stephen We are Costa of Borg.
