Try an SMC reset for the Bluetooth issue. In the recovery partition, did you
rejoin your wifi network? Without that it won't be able to speak to App Store
and get a list of your purchases.

I’ve just restarted it again (booting as usual) and all seems normal except
that it's lost Bluetooth - the wireless mouse won’t work and if I click on the
Bluetooth icon at the top right of the screen it just says “Bluetooth
Unavailable”. The Bluetooth system preference icon has disappeared too.
