Thanks so much to both of you, after a hard disk swap, iMac is dual booting Leopard & Tiger with partitions for OpenBSD & NetBSD which I'll install if I manage to convince open firmware to boot from USB (or obtain some CDRW disks to burn iso's) :) The iMac will be used to test the 64bit ABI support in pkgsrc (cross-platform packaging system) for OS X on PowerPC. So far Leopard works without issue but Tiger needs some attention.
