In 2015 (when I switched to Android) I began using iCloud Calendar Reminder Sync, <https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tai.tran.calendar.free> (from the same developer: iCloud Contacts Sync).
I have not paid attention to *any* mobile view of calendars in recent months, so I can't say whether the product will work as expected. But it's worth a shot. Four stars.
