I rarely visit the actual DropBox website. I use DropBox as a toolbar
item on my Mac and it also shows up as a folder in Finder.
If I'm sending large files to a customer, I create a folder and drop the
files in it. Then right click and get a 'share link' and send it to
them. If I need someone to send me files, I create a file request and
that provides a link that I send them - one-click and they can load the
files to my DropBox. Lots of the software I use also synchronises there
- like Transmit and DevonThink.
Because I've recommended so many people, I currently have 12.5Gb of
space and about 5Gb of it used,

Morning Graham!
Thank you for your reply. You are always so quick to help and I do
appreciate that.
I am amazed to see how much you use Dropbox.
I am pretty sure the Dropbox message I received is legitimate. I think
the problem is with me, as I have never got to grips with Dropbox (the
website is not exactly user-friendly), so obviously that is where I
need to start.
Gilly
