The Polaris graphics engine is pretty impressive, all that power in a very slim case. The touch bar looks like it'll take a while to get used to but the fingerprint sensor is a welcome addition.
Going from a 2011 MacBook Pro to this makes it well worth the price tag. I went for AppleCare too as I can't service or repair any of the new models, everything's either proprietary or soldered in.
