My sleep button seems to have stopped working! When I press it the machine shuts down instantly but won't restart by touching a key. Starts OK when I press button at back and goes instantly to the page I left. Keys for "sleep" don't work at all, though I've never used them before so I may be pressing wrong ones. OP is Snow Leopard 10.6.8. I've done a disc utility repair but no change. Thanks for any help.
