No email for thousands using Outlook and Hotmail
Thousands of email users were left unable to use their Microsoft Outlook
accounts yesterday after a service outage. Users reported issues logging in to
their Outlook and Hotmail email accounts, and the technology giant confirmed it
was suffering from connection problems.
According to service monitoring site Downdetector.co.uk, the UK was among the
worst affected areas.
“Intermittent connectivity is affecting customers in some European countries,
which we are working to resolve as soon as possible,” a Microsoft spokesman
said.
