When I bought a new MacBookPro in December at the AppleStore in Regents Street,
they told me about free lessons that take place there. I booked up for one,
just to see what they did, and was so impressed I have now been to three :
Beginners, Intermediate and Pages. Small groups of about 6, sitting round a
table with either their own computer or one lent to them, and good teachers who
know what they are doing. I have learnt things I never knew before although I
have been using Macs for about 20 years : how to make templates, how to ‘save
as’, how to use tags in the filing system, and how to do labels. Lessons on
huge variety of subjects such as coding, editing music on iPads, MBPs and
Phones, are at all the Apple stores and can be booked at today.apple.co.uk
