I always tell people (if they ask) that the time to buy is always now because
there will be something to replace it soon. An old techie adage I read decades
back said “If it works, its obsolete” 😆

However, when WWDC is one day away it does make sense to wait. I want to buy an
iPad Pro and there are strong rumours that there will/won’t be a new model
revealed tomorrow so I’m going to wait. If nothing appears then I will get the
current model. I’m using an iPad Air which has been great but after four and a
half years is missing out on some of the treats in the latest models - Touch
ID, amazing screen and refresh rates, better camera, much faster, split screen
and Apple Pencil to name a few. I’ve just got into being a bit creative with
some crayons on paper(!) so really like the idea of the Apple Pencil for art,
let alone all the other natty things it can do.

I use my Mac for app development and the best view and manipulation of my
photos, but I feel that the most exciting progress is being made on iOS these
days. Steve’s cars and truck analogy seems a description of how it’s going.

Cheers,

Stephen
