My wife last weekend popped into the Apple Store in Hamburg (Germany) with the same trouble you are having. She has a 6S and because the serial number was in a certain range they replaced the battery free of charge.
You need to make an appointment before you go, otherwise you’ll need two trips to the Apple Store. You can risk it without an appointment and if they are not busy they might do it there and then, but unlikely. Depending how busy they are and how late in the day your appointment is, it can take between 2 and 4 hours to change (if later in the day then next morning). Hope this helps.
