Afternoon all I really need some advice please.
I require some tips on the most practicable and budget friendly way of setting up our home IT, especially backup. We've: - Two teens on a couple of old but working iPhones (lots of photos/videos) - Wife and me on iPhones - Family iPad mini - Me on MBPro (backed up locally to HDD) - Family iMac My main interest: - Knowing it's all backed up - Gentle monitorring of teens iPhones (keeping them safe, preventing crazy purchases etc. Currently, they're all on my iTunes account for purchases etc, and various parental restrictions.) Is there an elegant solution to being setup as a family, with everything backed up (locally or remotely)? I hear of things like 'BackBlaze' but wonder if we could put DropBox / iCloud (paid for extra space) to better and more affordable use? I guess I could just backup the iOS devices to the iMac, and then back that up to a portable HDD - but I fear that's going to be a little time consuming, albeit doubtless cheapest. Any tips, really, really appreciated. As ever, Sam, if this is something you do and would be willing to hear more details from me and perhaps talk me through options, that's a phone call of wisdom I'd happily pay for, too!
