Yes, scratched a disc and now it really struggles to play on iMac/Macbook. Tries to skip over damaged area. When it realises it can't, I can sometimes convince it to skip 10mins, then plays for rest fine. I presume Handbrake won't work to burn it, either?
Any tips? I hear people use toothpaste and things, but nervous to then put back in my Mac!?!? A local shop offered a "secret 100% way to repair" for £15 - but I might as well buy new for that!
