Hi Sam, thanks for yr reply. I guess Superduper had never before asked permission to access my contacts, photos etc…….it has just got on with the copying. I suppose one never really knows (or at least I don’t and never will) what a developer is really doing behind the scenes. Paranoia!! Question - how much longer will any privacy last! anyway!? Nick
