Afternoon all

I’ve just tried plugging my Netgear Stora network drive box direct into my iMac
Ethernet socket rather than connecting it to the network via the router, and
somewhat to my surprise the iMac can use it. Trouble is however I want to
access the drive setup page, which would normally be done just via a web
browser and its IP address, but with the drive plugged in direct to the iMac I
have no way of knowing what its IP address is (does it even have one in these
circumstances?). Thoughts anybody?

Phil
