Morning all, I’ve taken the plunge with a Mac Mini, it’s arrived and so far working fine, if occasionally a little idiosyncratically, after using Migration Assistant from a Time Machine backup to copy everything across. It’s very, very fast!
So, before I consign the old iMac to Gumtree/eBay, I thought I’d see if anybody in the group wants it. The iMac in question is: 27” display Mid 2010 2.93GHz core i7 8GB RAM 1.24TB Fusion drive + 1TB hard drive It’s in pretty reasonable condition with a no more than the odd blemish you’d expect from eight years or so of life. It’d come with a wired Apple extended keyboard but no mouse. A quick eBay search for sold listings of similar spec machines suggests it’s worth £350 to £400, so I’m thinking £325 in the group? The iMac is in Brighton not far from Preston Circus. I have no packaging so it’s a pick-up only I’m afraid (although I could deliver locally in Brighton).
