In case anyone is interested I bought TP link ones in a set of three, which
work. But an older lone TP link one turned out also to work with the newer kit
so it looks like they have now got some compatibility with each other.
Thanks,
-Jason

From the ones I’ve seen, they only work as a pair, adding a third/fourth
doesn’t work at all.
The more expensive versions might work though.

Hi Smuggers
Are the various powerlines from TP Link and so on supposed to talk to one
another? We have a working pair and I just want to add one to the mix but they
only seem to come in pairs. I do have a single one whose pair failed but that
doesn't seem to pick up the internet connection through the mains. Or do they
have their own special protocols?
cheers
