I 'feared' as much.

Will keep scouring eBay and Gumtree for a Homepod.

The sound is wonderful and for us, Siri works just fine for what we need - 
but the thought of that quality (ok, so no it's not vinyl!) but in stereo 
has got us keen to consider it!
