I think I was one of those that started it but Jason was there very early on I’m sure. I remember being gobsmacked when being shown Photoshop for the first time on a very early dark grey PowerBook in the back room of (or under!) a pub not far from the train station that was our regular meeting place at that time.
I can still recall seeing my first ever video playing on a Macintosh, which may have even been prior to SMUG, at the size of a large postage stamp, and wondering why anyone would ever want to watch video on a computer! Ha!
