Hi Tilly, The first thing I’d check is the amount of free space on the disk/SSD - computers need free space to manage their memory and can slow down dramatically if you’re down to less than 10GB (?).
Also, run Activity Monitor (Applications > Utilities) and see if there is anything using a lot of memory or CPU - you can sort by these columns to make them appear at the top.
