You can reboot holding T on the keyboard to go into target disk mode, then use
FireWire/Thunderbolt to connect to another Mac (FireWire to thunderbolt
adapters are available).
Alternatively if you don’t want to repair it, you can take the drive out and
put it in a 3.5” usb enclosure to connect directly to your other Mac.
