Would love some advice if possible. I have an incredibly slow 2011 iMac which runs High Sierra. 500GB HD. I have a 450GB SSD which I’d like to use externally as the main drive. I thought I had cracked it but the smaller SSD (than the internal HD) was a problem even though I am only using 50% of the internal HD space so SSD easily big enough.
Disk Utility restore doesn’t seem to work (I get an error message) so I’m a bit stuck. Any ideas gratefully accepted…..
