Sometimes there’s a firmware update in there too. I’d rather the install takes longer to get everything right than rush it though. I can’t find the original question in my email, but macOS updates have for a while downloaded, then restarted to install, with a progress bar under the apple logo and a rough time estimate. _ Regards Sam Mullen
