Thanks for your thoughts there - I’ve had two WD portable drives and one 
MyBook? 2TB drive but they are USB 2 and all mechanical and tended to take a 
fair while. I’d be happy with another of their drives, SSD, but they don’t do 
any Thunderbolt drives. Maybe for the amount of data I have, USB3.2 is fine.

As for the iMac, it is a joy. So beautifully made & designed, the trackpad is 
huge, the screen is amazing, the cables lovely, super fast, the keyboard is 
great and it can be carried with one hand - almost portable! 😆
