Not really. I looked up the apple pages on Pages and using a Pencil
(grrr, so much fun googling that) and concluded that what it used to do
has been changed, and never got to the bottom of it. In practice,
whenever I try to do anything, it inserts a drawing box instead of
letting me just write on it. I've gone back to scribbling on pdfs
because I've not had time to really sit down and work out what's going
on!
Word used to mimic Pages so it's possible that still behaves the same
but I just can't stand Word. Will test that out at some point and report
back....

Hi smuggers,
Haven't done it for a while but I used to use Pages on iPad to
scribble
notes in the margin, just my handwriting.
Tried to do it just now and it won't let me do anything apart from
highlight - everything else invites me to tap to add a drawing, which
then creates a huge box for me to write in.
Apple support pages tell me nothing useful. Has anyone else cracked
this? It's incredibly frustrating as it's the only thing I ever use
Pages for (scribbling on Word docs). I don't want the faff of
creating
pdfs so I can do this...
Cheers,
Jason
