Sorry nich, gue ikutan nimbrung...atas kejadian pemublikasian kartun Rasulullah
SAW, emang uda sepatutnya kita meluruskan yang salah...tp, apa perlu kita
memboikot produk2 dari negara tersebut, padahal siapa tau ada sodara kita yang
muslim juga yg bekerja di perusahaan2 yang produknya diusulkan utk di
boikot...Apa ga ada jalan lain yg lebih bijaksana? mengingat kita adalah kaum
yang berilmu?
Dan saya rasa Rasul juga tidak akan setuju dengan cara ini, karena sama aja
dengan mematikan rejeki orang lain.Sementara Rasul sendiri selalu bersikap
bijaksana dalam menghadapi setiap musuhnya...

Pelecehan terhadap umat Islam oleh media massa Barat nampaknya belum akan
berhenti. Setelah harian Jyllands-Posten terbitan Denmark menyatakan permohonan
maafnya karena sudah mempublikasikan kartun-kartun Nabi Muhammad SAW, di
Perancis, harian France Soir malah memuat kartun-kartun serupa dengan alasan
untuk ilustrasi dari polemik yang sedang berkembang sejak Jyllands-Posten
mempublikasikan kartun-kartun yang mengundang kemarahan umat Islam seluruh
dunia itu.
Perdana Menteri Denmark Anders Fogh Rasmussen mengingatkan bahwa
kartun-kartun itu memicu gelombang kemarahan di dunia Islam. "Kami menghadapi
kekuatan-kekuatan yang di luar kontrol. Kami akan mengerahkan segala upaya
untuk meredakan situasi," katanya pada media massa Denmark beberapa saat
setelah evakuasi di kantor Jyllands-Posten karena adanya ancaman bom. Rasmussen
menyatakan bahwa pemerintahnya memutuskan bahwa pertikaian yang makin panas
akibat kartun-kartun itu sebagai hal 'yang sangat serius.'
Harian France Soir mengatakan pihaknya memutuskan untuk menerbitkan
kartun-kartun kontroversial tersebut 'bukan atas keinginan untuk memicu
provokasi, tapi karena menganggap kontroversi itu dalam skala global yang tidak
ada kaitannya dengan upaya membangun keseimbangan dan batas-batas yang saling
menguntungkan dalam demokrasi, penghormatan terhadap kepercayaan agama tertentu

DOHA: Islamic scholars, while delivering the Friday sermon at
various mosques in Qatar, urged Muslims to boycott the products of Denmark and
Norway, to protest against 12 cartoons of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) that appeared
in some newspapers in these countries recently.
Muslims consider it sacrilegious to paint, draw or visualise the
image of the Prophet (PBUH) in any form. The International Islamic Union
chaired by Doha-based Islamic scholar Dr Yousuf Al Qaradawi had called for
boycott of products from these two countries until their governments issue a
formal apology to the Islamic world on the issue. The union also urged Arab and
Islamic countries to put pressure on these countries to comply with the Muslim
demand.
ï؟½This incident reflects the hatred of the West towards Muslims
and their Prophet (PBUH). These countries will learn a lesson only when they
lose millions of euros,ï؟½ said one of the speakers at a mosque in Doha.
The boycott, if implemented, would hit hard the economies of
these two countries, especially Denmark, a local Arabic daily said. Exports by
Denmark to the Arab peninsula stands at 4.8bn kroner (QR2.81bn), the paper
said.
The boycott call didnï؟½t have a noticeable impact on the local
market so far, dealers said yesterday.
Retailers in Gulf, meanwhile, were pulling Danish products from
their shelves.
Major Saudi supermarkets posted notices saying ï؟½Danish products
are not soldï؟½ over their cheese displays. Sheikh Ali Al Huzaifi, the Imam of
the holy mosque in Madinah, urged Muslim governments to recall their
ambassadors and freeze trade with Denmark and Norway ï؟½who permit such
nonsense, calling it democracyï؟½.
ï؟½Ridiculing the Prophet (PBUH) is an appalling crime which
should not pass without response, because that would allow others in the future
to commit the same indecent act,ï؟½ he told Friday worshippers.
In Kuwait, the Union of Cooperative Societies, the largest retail
network, said all Danish products will be withdrawn starting today. Some 50
companies have decided to stop importing Danish goods.
