I am using the following processes to obtain information about the system: - grep - awk - upower - bash (to launch the other processes) If you need to see how I use them, please check this code: https://github.com/WinT-3794/QDriverStation/blob/master/src/utilities.cpp#L44 As a side-note, I don't know if its worth the hassle of creating an interface that allows applications to access these processes. I am sure that I can find other (and better) ways to get information regarding the CPU and Battery states, without the need of using an external program to do that.
