Here is an update on the highlights in the snap community for the past week. This is a special one: starting today, a lot of snappy developers, 3rd party app upstreams, distros leaders and contributors are together for a week-long sprint in Heidelberg, Germany!

Thanks to this amazing community for allowing us to build expertise together, the repo now contains 44 examples, including the new: * ResidualVM, by LyzardKing * TexWorks, by LyzardKing * jTileDownloader, by dplanella * MirageOS, by elopio * Docker Compose, by elopio * QOwnNotes, by pbek * click-parser, by bhdouglass * 2048, by dholbach * The list of examples in the README <https://github.com/ubuntu/snappy-playpen/blob/master/README.md> has also been updated with tags, to let you see at a glance which technologies/plugins/snapcraft features are used by each example. * The snaps upstreaming initiative is going strong as well, and more info has been added to the getting started upstreaming <https://github.com/ubuntu/snappy-playpen/wiki/Upstreaming> page. ## Community highlights * The Open Build Service <http://openbuildservice.org/> by OpenSuse is getting Snapcraft support <https://github.com/openSUSE/osc/blob/b6f7d1be6c9b58ca6bcd5a12f72652977d3935ba/NEWS>. * Titania <http://titania.create3000.de/>, an X3D editor and browser, is getting snapped upstream <https://github.com/create3000/titania/blob/master/build/snapcraft/snapcraft.yaml>. * QDriverStation <https://frc-utilities.github.io/>, a driving station for competition robots is getting snapped upstream <https://github.com/FRC-Utilities/QDriverStation/blob/master/etc/deploy/linux/snapcraft/snapcraft.yaml>. * The School of Engineering and Architecture of Fribourg has a prominent telecom tower on top of its main building, covered with leds, and has created a piece of software to display messages on it.
