I get it.
I was just assuming that this would not be possible ever.
Perhaps I'll look at invoking xdg-open if browse() fails.
Java claims it's unavailable on the current platform when run within
the snap.

I guess that depends on what .browser for getDesktop() is using
internally to bind with the system. If you can identify the tool if
not
xdg-open, we can certainly have a look (I'm not a Java expert)
