Rainbow Room Roof Leak Dispute The tenant of New York City's Rainbow Room has a disagreement with the landlord on whether the roof of 30 Rockefeller Plaza leaks. Maybe after what's left of Hurricane Isabel breezes through, New Yorkers will have an answer. The operator of the Cipriani Fifth Avenue, also the Rainbow Room's operator, says he is being pressured to allow part of the restaurant to be used as an entrance to an observation deck on the top of building, the New York Post reports.
