Again interesting choice, because it says in that passage "... that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day." Would seem to say to me that "may" includes the possibility that you could belive and turn away....it didn't say they will, but they "may"...
John 6:37-40 teaches from the lips of no less than
Christ himself all who are given to him by the father will have eternal
life. He specifically said that everyone who sees the Son and believes in
him will have eternal life, and be securely risen up with the saints on the last
day. After Jesus taught this lesson he was asked to speak
more plainly. He responded by teaching the identical doctrine in John
10:27-30 where he said that those who followed him would know his voice and
