It was relevant
though. It went to show that there is a huge difference between redneck and
white trash. A person should be proud to be called a redneck because of what
the term means. White trash is nothing to be proud of. Therefore when you
hear someone calling white trash a redneck you can correct them by telling them
they don’t know what the word means.

IMO....
A redneck can still have family and moral values....
A redneck is proud of being a redneck.... white trash
are trying to figure out how to score some more crank etc.
