I still have some that are marked pictures that I need to check into cause I can't find the ones that used to hang in the hallway upstairs...and I wanted to hang those here. Most everything else is unpacked though...well..there are some things that will go to James at Christmas..but those are boxes that I repacked with things I didn't know I had. I started learning my job today. I also found out I have safety training on Friday..at..you guessed it..the safety building. I heard it was a cure for insomnia..so to take some gum or something...LOL..I got my computer and my email is [EMAIL PROTECTED] Don't send anything bad there though... Our boss threw us a luncheon today...for the work we all did (well not me..cause I didn't know how to do much of anything..but I did proofread a lot of contracts for spelling errors and typos)...he also let us going home 59 minutes early...which is a big deal. We obligated a lot of money yesterday..and I think he said something about 1.5 Billion last year. It was a lot..I know that. Then I sat with Nancy, this lady who has been there forever and she was teaching me how to do task/delivery contracts. We did one completely through and I took notes that I will type up tomorrow and will sit with her again. My boss wants me to learn those and Small Purchase Acquisitions (Small is anything under $25,000) so those are the ones I will concentrate on. There is a training for Contracts that I will look up on the intern site and see when they are holding the training and where. It is 5 days away..whoohoo...the next 2 classes I will take will be online. I have to go to Norfolk in Dec. for a week too for an intern thingy. So..that is how the job is going...I have the fence up in the back yard now...the dogs seem to like that better...the kids are settling into school...so...we will see how they are doing come report card time.
