Popes pick new names when they become pope. This one's
name was Karol or some thing like that. 

With Catholism spreading the quickest in Africa and
Asia, it is not unlikely at all that the next pope
would come from one of these areas. I really wouldn't
be surprised if one came from South or Latin America
either. If the church wants someone who will represent
the most people, it will be from these areas and not
from Italy or Europe. 

This pope has done a wonderful job...
